POWER SHARING CRISIS DEEPENS IN APC

Contrary to popular expectations or intentions of the leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC), the mega opposition political party appeared to have merged or recruited PDP members into bigger crises than the ruling party.  While the party is yet to round up its celebration on the recent recruitment of PDP members, that now turned the APC to a slight majority ruling party in the House of Representatives, the tussle over the control of the party structure in the various states has continued to destabilize the party's consolidation on its formation and membership drive.
Accordingly, the leadership crisis that engulfed the Kaduna State branch of the APC late last year suddenly took a new dimension last week, as the interim State Chairman, Dr. Hakeem Baba-Ahmed, a one-time Permanent Secretary in the Federal Civil Service, tried to save his leadership of the party from some power brokers within the party, who have concluded to pass a vote of no confidence on him any moment from now. He insisted that he still has firm control of APC leadership in trhe state but those in opposition accused him of high-handedness and dictatorship, instancing on his removal and replacement.
Meanwhile, certain Prophets who see tomorrow from today had prophesied monumental crises in APC.  Prophet T.B. Joshua of The Synagogue Church Of All Nations (SCOAN) admonished the opposition political party, APC against members who are with them in flesh and not in spirit. “There will be a leadership tussle over who will lead and who will be presidential candidate in APC, which will affect them as a political party. They should be vigilant. Many are with them in flesh but not with them in spirit,” he declared.
The situation is not different in other States, especially Sokoto, Adamawa, Kwara.
