In a well coordinated and smooth contest, Miss Adamawa, Chidinma Stella Charles, a 300 level student of the University of Abuja, emerged Miss Heritage Nigeria 2013 beating other 27 contestants from other states to a standstill.With this victory, Stella is the third person to emerge Miss Heritage since three years of its inception.
As the winner, she was given a brand new car, a trip to Ghana and South Africa, with a cover page appearance on Surf Magazine.The event, which was well attended
and well coordinated, held at the prestigious Ladi Kwali hall of Sheraton Hotel on Sunday, December 15, 2013.

Over excited Stella said she is deeply touched and surprised when they got to the top five and finally emerged the winner. She added that she bought the form like every other contestant but never expected to win the contest.
“All I did was to prepare well for the contest and prayed for success. I give all the thanks and praise to God for my victory,” she said adding that her mother is her role model and that her parents were very supportive in her bid to become Miss Heritage Nigeria.
When asked whether she would embark on any pet project during her reign, the charming newly crowned queen that she would use her reign to promote Nigerian culture and heritage among the youths by going to primary and secondary schools promoting and preaching the importance of our culture and heritage and the rich cultural values Nigeria is blessed with, and will also promote childeducation in Nigeria. She promises that her reign will be unique as Miss Heritage happens to be a unique pageant that promotes African culture, tradition and heritage.
Also speaking to the press immediately after the pageant was the CEO of Caires Grooming Agency, founder of Miss Heritage Awards and Miss Heritage Nigeria, Ms Chinor Emeka. She said that her organisation basically has set out to groom youthful men and women on how to easily discover their talents and improve their public images in terms of dressing, speaking and comportment for self actualisation.
She noted that the organisation essentially uses the Miss Heritage Nigeria to promote our cultural values in terms of modeling in traditional African attires, showcasing knowledgeable demonstration of cultural heritage of various Nigerian ethnic groups propagating National Re-orientation for self and community development.
Nigeria, being an embodiment of 250 ethnic groups and diversity of different cultures, it is hoped that this project will further accelerate the advancement of our National unity and identity.
She went further to say "my country motivated me. Nigeria is blessed with a rich cultural heritage which should be showcased within and outside the country. And we are also blessed with beautiful vegetation.
My aim is to install our cultural values in our youths and also to enable them discover their talents thereby empowering them."
